Description

Second design for Kiwicide's contest! A dragon that's gem-based cause gems are cool. Their "hair" is actually shards of garnet that grows out of it's body along the top ridges, and the horns are smoky quartz. The gems also glow in dim light, although only the garnets which are the main gems of the dragon! The crown bracelets were with the idea that this dragon is the prince/princess to their particular gemline. I ended up putting a lot of thought into this design aha. If this one doesn't win, I'm thinking about keeping it and expanding on the gemdragon idea and more into their species hehe. We'll just have to see!

Omg I am such a fan of your designs, Nix. They never cease to amaze me. Your creativity never ceases to amaze me wow. I LOVE the color palette of this, especially. How you mixed the red with the brown--it looks fantastic. And how the mane is a bunch of jewels that also flow into the skin. So pretty! Excellent job!
And yeah, if you don't wind, you should still do something with it. Seriously.
