50. Breaking the Rulesby *Nix-Sil

Some of you might recognize that this is one of the doodles from the dump I posted a few days ago. We have a snow day today and I felt like arting, so I decided to color this in! It was a lot of fun, actually, I don't draw Chantrial enough and I really aught to more. I think this looks really nice, what with the shading and everything. The lineart is all from the traditional doodle, and technically I attempted to shade the lineart, but I added extra shading anyway and I think it turned out really well! I might use this as her layout picture. c:

Also using it for the 100 Themes Challenge! It's been a long, long time since I've last worked on it, and I aught to start that up again. This works for that, since I originally drew this with the idea of it being Channy at the shrine, practicing her forbidden dark magic in some corner where no one would find her. Hence, Breaking the Rules.

I hope so! It's a little tricky and takes me longer to do, but I definitely want to use it again. I really like the effects. ouo

Ohh, I like this style. It makes me think of Wind Waker and Okami a little. eue
